Branford Youth Soccer Club Directions to the Flax Mill Soccer Field, Thompson Road Road, Branford

The following directions are basically from MapQuest.com and the Branford Youth Soccer Club. I estimate it will be 25 minutes from downtown Madison. - Garry Archer

Meet at the field no later than 40 minutes before kick off.

1. I-95 South to New Haven. 2. Take Exit 55 (Route 1, Branford). 3. At the end of the ramp, at the traffic, turn right onto East Main Street (Route 1). 4. Proceed 0.1 miles to the next traffic light at the intersection with North Branford Road (Route 139). 5. Turn left onto with North Branford Road (Route 139). 6. Follow North Branford Road, past Commercial Street on your left and around a 90 degree bend. 7. Go 0.3 miles and turn left onto Thompson Road - there is a sign for Flax Mill Soccer Field opposite the entrance to Thompson Road. 8. If you have gone over the railroad tracks on North Branford Road you have gone too far! 9. Follow Thompson Road through the industrial park and follow the "Flax Mill Soccer Field" signs - the paved road eventually turns into a gravel road. 10. On the gravel road, when you see green gates on your right, immediately take the next left. This is the entrance to the field's parking lot.
